Do you have to buy a truck chassis and have the seating area added on? Or are there ready for business multicabs in the Philippines for sale, new and used?

Take the advice of "INDEPENDANT MARK2"

The maintenance and hidden costs will quickly erode any profits made.

Many companies will custom make for you or you can buy ready to drive and pick up passengers. One thing about the PI motor industry, they have every stage available --for a price. New off the floor ready to work, registered insured and on road expect P800-000 minimum. Used depending on condition etc is however much the seller can get out of you. How long is a piece of string is how much you pay for anything 2nd hand.

Personally I don't think that at roughly P7-say max P20 per passenger the initial outlay is today worth it. It will take several years to recover that cost before one centavo of profit is had. On top of the outlay, fuel, tyres, servicing, registration and Fees to operate, drivers wages, all in all I would consider a bloody big drain on my capital.

For the same outlay you can build plenty of hollow block shacks , one room with a roof . That's it. People will rent them. Stuff all maintenance and costs. I have an amigo built a one room hollow block and is getting P5000 per month in Cordova Mactan. It is say 12 foot by 12 foot. Hollow block walls , tin roof. No toilet nothing , just a square one room affair. The rent for the 1st month paid back the build cost. Remeber -small hollow blocks go for P4 only. You can buy a truckload for 20 bucks. At p5000 build cost each, you could build 100 of them for the price of one multi cab and set your self up as a budget priced Filipino style trailer park landlord. Hmmm , Not a bad idea ???

Google "Multicabs for sale in the Philippines" or "Sulit.ph" or "Aysodito.com".
