See that avatar of the dog? She is right. The USCIS does not care about your brother's mixed up NSO birth certificates. Choose (the correct) one and submit it. Ask him to get more than one correct BC on security paper. This is one time you will not need a lawyer.

i applied for a birth certificate in BAGUIO CITY NSO branch last August 08 2014 supposedly i will have the said certificate the same as with the others but then a problem occurred according to the NSO baguio staff the manila has loaded a wrong image for my name so he asked me to come back after 4 weeks in which i did so but then again the same problem still exist and asked me to return after 2 weeks so i did then the problem is still there and asked me to come back after 2 weeks "AGAIN" now im starting to wonder are they doing their jobs really?

Well their being paid for doing nothing is that so?

was it the NSO baguio city branch fault or the main branch (manila) fault?

hi eve.. gusto ko sanang malaman kung nasolve itong problem mo..because i have the same problem..meron din akong 2 copies ng birth certificate na nkrecord s NSO. twice kc ngpkasal ang parents ko ung una ibang surname ang ginamit ng father ko sa marriage certificate nila ng mother ko..dahil my tampuhan sila ng lolo ko kaya nea ginawa un..ng malaman ng mother ko un at ng ibang kamg anak n ganon ang ngyari inadvice sila n mgpksal ult at ausin ang papel nmen..bago sila mkpg pksal ng bago nregister n kme s surname n ginamit ng father ko..nong mgpkasal sila ult, ngfile ang mother q ng late registration para s bago kong birth certificate..sa lahat ng papers ko cmula bata hnggang ngyon mgttrabaho nq at ngpplan n mgpkasal ng tumubos ako ult ng NSO BC ko, ung unang BC ang nakuha q skin,, ganon dn ang cnb ski malaking gastos kylngn p dw ipa abogado, pra s cancellation nong nauna kong BC..ano bng dpat n gawin??salamat

I can't get NSO birth certificate because I have the same name. First name, middle name, last name. But we are different for year of birth and parents. The NSO staff in our place told me that everytime he search my name, the only person that appear on the computer screen is the other person. Hope NSO can solve this issue.

my problem is the birth place of my son..imbes na City of San Fernando, Pampanga e CSF lng nilagay nila..di kmi mkpgpapassport kc nid dw na buo ung birthplace..inaus n nmin to s pampanga but sbi ng nso manila e mali daw ung requirements n ipinasa ng registrar ng pampanga..my son is 10 years old lng...sna u caan respond to my msge po agd,nid nmin mkakuha n ng passport...tnxx

my problem is name ng hospital ang nilagay na birthplace sa birth certificate ng anak ko instead ung place ng chinese general hospital.ang hospital ang gumawa nito.ano po ba gagawin namin.hinde po makakuha ng passport ang anak sa dfa dahil dito..taga cagayan valley po kami.need ur asap response.thanks

It's not exactly what my case is but try to analyze mine and see if this will work for your brothers case,

When I was about to get married to my now-husband (American citizen) I used the "Late registration Birth certificate" that my mother obtained when I was enrolling in college back 1998. Reason we have late registration is because the City Hall where my original birth certificate is was burnt (so they can't give me original copy and when they look at database I have no existing birth cert,)

Fast track to February 2007, since I am getting married I went to local NSO office to obtain copy of my birth certificate, and yes it shows the "authenticated late Registration" copy from 1998. It was Around middle of April 2007, I was staying in Manila and have to finally file I-130 so I decided to go to NSO Main office in Manila, to my surprise my Original birth certificate showed up in their system so there are complications between my Original and Late one-- Time of birth, Doctor's name, and Municipality where I was born because back in 1998 my mother registered me at our town not in the original city where I was born because for a late registration to go through there should be folks who knows you so practically I am unknown in that city where I was born so I have to be registered in the municipality where I lived and stay my whole life.

Well, to make the long story short, like your brother I have 2 existing birth certificate with complicating/contradicting facts but then since I used the Late registration birth certificate with all of my application with USCIS, there were no problem at all as long as it was" authenticated copy from NSO". I had been successfully petitioned and issued with Greencard now.

It means if NSO authenticate both, I guess it's NSO's fault and your brother just had to chose which he will permanently use.

hello po..may problema din po ako sa BC ko dalawa..... nag apply ako bc sa nso hindi dw ako naka rehistro;so ang ginawa ko pumunta ako kung saan ako pinanganak sa NUEVA ECIJA late registration...n then ang tagal kung di nakapunta ng nso nung may anak na ako nag apply ulit ako ang naging dalawa na yung BC ko eh samantalang sbi nila d dw ako naka registered .... valid yung bacolod kc yun dw ang unang narehistro ..hay hirap kasi iba ang name ng tatay ko dun at birthplace...pero yung bday at name ko walang mali...pls help naman eto ang email ko [e-mail]

paano ko po kaya mako - correct yung pagiging late registered ko... i was born year 1992 and im an ilegitimate chid.. Year 2005 na ko nairegistered ng mama ko after i graduated elementary year 2005 dun nia nalaman na hindi ako nairehistro ng daddy ko... ang alam nia kc inirehistro ko..., so everytime na kukuha ko ng birth certificate may nkalagay n late registered ., paano ko po kaya ito maipapayos? lagi po kc itong nake question pag apply ko sa japan embassy ... salamat :)
