Yes and yes.
But take note that you'll be carrying around your laptop and PS3 for the whole duration of your trip, and that may cause inconvenience. If that's OK with you, then go by all means. However, to minimize the weight of your hand carried luggage, I do suggest the following:
1. Do NOT carry your PS3 as hand carried luggage. Rather, before you leave, combine all of your fragile stuff (PS3 and accessories included) in one luggage then at the counter, request that it be marked as "fragile" luggage then have it checked-in. The attendant will then put a red sticker with the "fragile" sign and then that luggage will be handled with extra care compared to other regular luggage.
You might think that this is a dangerous thing to do especially for electronics, but trust me these things can be subjected to slight bumps without damage. Imagine the distance that your PS3 traveled from the factory to your house.
Of course, add cushion for extra protection.
2. If you really want to hand carry your PS3, put all accessories in your check-in luggage i.e. carry only the body itself. You won't be playing with your PS3 during the trip anyway, that's for sure.
3. If you don't think that you'll be using your laptop for a long time, say for under 2 hours, check-in all laptop accessories including the charger and mouse. Just make sure you have a full battery charge before you go. You won't be plugging that in anyway. Personally I don't take my laptop out unless I'm flying business class. I just think it's a hassle.
Hope this helps.
