Please advise about getting a VISA to visit friends in the USA?

Have you successfully gotten a visa / an extended visa to travel to and visit friends in the USA? How did you do it? What do you think helped most towards your success?

I want to bring my husband from the Philippine to the USA to visit me. I will buy a ROUND TRIP ticket. He does NOT want to STAY in the USA. He simply wants to visit and let me show him my home country.

Anyone with experience with any suggestions to offer?

This one is easy to asnwer but hard to perform...



Make him submit an application to the US EMBASSY located in ROXAS BLVD... Then they will schedule some interview...



Make sure that your friend can produce everything on my list...



1.) Bank statement saying that he has $$$ to travel... 1.2M is the best...



2.) Bring statements/Documents stating that your friend has a work here in the philippines and he has been granted a vacation leave from this date to that date...



3.) Bring documents stating and proving that your friend has a family / child here in the philippines and he will be going back here...



4.) Make sure your friend already knows his plans where to stay in US, HOTEL or YOUR PLACE, exact address of the place he is staying, contact number of the place he is staying, contact person in US, address of the contact person, and contact number of the contact person in US...



5.) Make sure your friend can speak english properly... Sometimes it makes a diff...

you need to have him go to his embassy and fill out paper work telling them how long he will be in the state's and aply for a passport.
